This site is a great idea, very pleased to see it and participate as a former Panther baseball team member. I played varisty baseball at P'ville in the spring of '67 and '68. I was a pitcher and In April of my senior year we played Bronxville in our second game which was our home opener at Parkway field.. We won 2 to 0 and I was privileged to pitch for one of the best fielding teams I have ever seen in H.S. baseball. I pitched a perfect game, striking out 9, one fly to the outfield and 11 ground balls played flawlessly by our infield My catcher was Bruce Bohlander (class of'69), Ed Torroni was at first, Billy Plumb at second, Tom Moroney at short and Ricky Hall at third. Ricky was the only sophomore starter and caught a difficult foul pop up off the bag for the final out. Our outfiled was John Vecchio in Center, Bruce MacDonald in right and Harry rassmun in left. Our coach was Chuck Beattie. I will never forget the thrill of that game nor my teamates and the rest of a 13 and 2 season. Nor will I ever forget our teammate Rick Hall who died much too early at the Wrold Trade Center on 9/11.

1968 Season

I remember when we made it to the sectional championship game @ Dutchess County Stadium as the #16. We beat the #1 seed (Ardsley), #8 seed (Dover) and the #4 seed (Dobbs Ferry) to get there.
